(AfriDU) African Diaspora Union CARICOM States is committed to addressing the diverse needs of African diaspora communities across the Caribbean. Our mission is multifaceted, stemming from our roots as descendants of enslaved Africans in the Caribbean as we strive to create a lasting legacy.
Empowerment: Our goal is to empower individuals and communities by providing access to resources, opportunities, and capacity-building programs. Through initiatives like skills training, entrepreneurship support, and economic empowerment, we aim to uplift marginalized groups and promote self-sufficiency.
Unity and Collaboration: We understand the power of unity and collaboration. Serving as a platform, our organization fosters connections and collaborations among African diaspora individuals, organizations, and stakeholders. By facilitating dialogue and fostering solidarity, we aim to harness collective efforts towards common goals.
Intercontinental Trade: We are dedicated to fostering empowerment by facilitating access to resources and opportunities, extending our focus beyond borders to incorporate intercontinental business trade with Africa. By engaging in this exchange, we aim to uplift marginalized groups, promote self-sufficiency, and forge mutually beneficial partnerships.
Vision Statement:
Our vision for the Caribbean region is one of prosperity, inclusivity, and cultural vibrancy, where the African diaspora plays a central and empowered role in shaping its destiny.
Prosperity: We envision a region where economic opportunities are accessible to all, fostering sustainable growth and prosperity for individuals and communities through economic development, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
Inclusivity: We aspire to create an inclusive society that celebrates diversity, respects the rights of all its members, and ensures equal opportunities for social and economic advancement, embracing its multicultural fabric.
Cultural Enrichment: Our vision includes a culturally enriched Caribbean that treasures its African heritage and embraces its multicultural identity. Through cultural exchange programs and heritage preservation efforts, we aim to promote cross-cultural understanding and nurture a sense of belonging among all residents.
To realize this vision, the AfriDU African Diaspora Union CARICOM States will leverage strategic partnerships, innovative initiatives, and grassroots activism to address systemic inequalities, build bridges, and create a legacy of unity, resilience, and prosperity for generations to come.

AFRIDU TRIPOD STAND ON INTEGRATION OF THE AFRICAN DIASPORA
African Diaspora Union (AFRIDU) putting into consideration the May 25th 2012 Declaration of the Global African Diaspora Summit held in Sandton Johannesburg, South Africa, and recognizing the decision at the summit to encourage the Diaspora to organize themselves in regional networks and establish appropriate mechanisms that will enable their increasing participation in the affairs of the African Union as observers and eventually, in the future, as a sixth region of the continent that would cont ribute substantially to the implementation of policies and programmes and recognizing the sumit agreement to continue to integrate the African Diaspora agenda in it's engagement with international partners.
